We’re pleased to announce that FPS Flexible Packaging Solutions has officially committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) Net-Zero Standard. This is a significant step that reflects our dedication to reducing emissions in line with climate science.
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a corporate climate action organization that enables companies worldwide to play their part in combating the climate crisis. The standards, tools and guidance will guide us to contribute to a greater purpose in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reductions targets in line with what is needed to keep global heating below catastrophic levels and reach net-zero by 2050 at the latest.
Through this initiative we are now part of the Race to Zero, an UN-backed global campaign driving leadership for a healthy, resilient, zero-carbon recovery.
As we move forward with this exciting development, we are focused on developing science-based targets to drive our emissions reduction efforts and will utilize SBTi resources to ensure our commitment is well-aligned.
